heyup. my speedo Sensor is near my front wheel, and i have 6 magnets in my Front disc brake nuts, what is the calcuation for the Speedo setting, do i have to work out 17" into cm/mm which is like 432mm ?the settings go upto thousands etc ?does it matter my sensors are on my disc which is smaller than my wheel ? did you have your magnet sensors on your wheel ? do i need to measure my disc instead of wheel/tyre?

im still confused with this whole 2c 4c 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 P setting stuff, beacuse ive read so many different variations, all giving weird results when reving my bike..

PS, if i do the Resistor Mod, (2k ohm res) between the B/w wire and Orange/blue wire, should this fix my max 5krpm problem and topspeed of 30 :S
i still rode her to work tonight struggling to do 35 in 6th gear, rather than cycling 5miles in the cold 8-)

Just thought id add a few Pictures for anybody who wants to see the actual Koso Clocks etc, they are the RX1N model, bought off ebay for £195 ish, and come with lots of bits and bobs to sort out water temp etc, the instructions though are RUBBISH!! bad use of language, and bad instructions, 2 wires are both labled Brown on the instructions when RPM is brown and the other brown is a near peachy pink light brown colour, anyway with my Handy Grandad Electrician with me we sorted some stuff out :D

We used the orginal Meter Stay (which was a bit bent and kanckered, but we cut it down to size later and attached the Koso bracket, it fit well v v v

note: also Fitted a 12v Cigarette lighter/adapter as i was looking into getting a mount for my phone, so i could use it as a GPS/Sat Nav etc :P, but there doesnt seem to be much room to fit one ;( but still handy i suppose if ever needed ?

Looks sharp but sorry again about the calibrating struggles. With the resistor mod, your flat spot should be fixed. As for speedo setup, hopefully someone with the same unit can chime in and help you out. You can always get a translogic one like mine to save your sanity lol. It's funny that you mention the 12V adapter. I was thinking of installing one this weekend if I had time for the very same reason. Wanted to use a tracking app to record my rides on Google maps and, use navigation and listen to music. I'll take some pics once I install it. Do you have pics on where you installed yours?

I'm a sucker for originality but that bike is lush. Clocks will look super smart once installed and setup properly! Also, what's with the shortened breather?
A roaring V4 is the summer soundtrack.

I fitted a Koso to my KR1 track bike and found it fairly straight forward.
The 2C 4C refers to whether its a two stroke or four stroke, the other numbers refer to the number of cylinders.
You can either fit the current clamp around the HT lead or a wire connected to the LT side of the coil for the Tacho speed.

what do you need for this tracking app ? Sounds cool, id love to see all over england where ive been etc :D ill take a picture later maybe, of where the charger is, i bought it off ebay, and its just mounted with a few tie wraps lol,.
when you say Listen to music, do you mean thorugh earphones or through a special helmet with the phones built in like x lites Xcom or AGVoice ? if you had one of them helmets itd be cool to have music and sat nav etc :D the translogic ones look good, but thered be no way id be foring out 100s more, i need to get this Sorted :( hopeully my dad can help me sort out the whole RESISTOR MOD thign in a bit, :grin:

aww that means alot :D i get alot of people looking at it and saying stuff outside the Bar/restaurant i work, but to come from a Nc30 owner is alot better 8-)

i know you like your vfr400s how they are,

and i dont know tbh about the breather, apart from is was black, untill it broke, (proberly some drunk in town) :@ then i put some red tape around it to keep it in place, but just in the last 2 days its came off ;(,

i actually want to know where i can get one, and what did it do exactly ? there was like an anodized valve cap on the top?
its got to be something either TYGA or custom ? dont know sorry
