And she passed!
Well after a while rebuilding and painting, and then a lovely week in wet wales, decided to take the fzr for it's mot. Only had 1 advisory for worn pads, so all in all pretty chuffed! Only rode it a short distance because it wasn't taxed, but had a couple of roundabouts to go round and it felt good!
the three year old has named it the bumblebee! well it's the right colours!

Re: And she passed!
nice one, well done
the weather's supposed to be nice again for the weekend
I've been off the road for about 3 weeks, got a bloody puncture
the cooker went bang at the same time and the missus said i had to get a new cooker first
i did tell her that with a new tyre we could go out for meals but she wasn't impressed

Re: And she passed!
looks good,
i like the black detail on the front it takes the shape of the cockpit just right and makes it look nicely streemlined

Re: And she passed!
so what'd you recon it's worth? new tyres (done 40miles) MOT and taxed for the year.
r1 mastercylinder and braided lines.
think i may have to sell it as no where to keep it sensibly.
cheers

Re: And she passed!
wrong time of the year to be selling it i'd a thought
the spring (march ish) would get you a better price, but what that price would be is anybody's guess
it's difficult to tell but if you sorted the stainless fairing fasteners and give the wheels either a good polish or re-spray then maybe 5/8 hundred with T&T
if it was a 3TJ SP model and original then maybe up to about 1K,
i've seen peeps ask for a lot more 1.2k to 1,4k for an SP ( their still there months later) but your straying into R6 territory and unless you love the TJs most peeps would go for the R6 or similar anyway for that money

Re: And she passed!
all fixings were sorted just after the pic! the wheels are fine, just dusty from being stored in the shed nothing a quick blast of water wont fix!
