Rebuild
hi i would like any advice or knowledge, i am going to be starting a course at college to learn about the internals and servicing of motorbikes, i have just purchased a gk73a for a few hundred quid and i want to strip it all down including doing and engine rebuild replacing things where possible and restoring it back to new. I know some people might say why or just buy a new engine but i am doing this to learn about the bike and engine so if worst comes to worst when i have put it all back together and it still doesnt run then i wont be overly bothered as i just want to do if for experience but obviously i want it to run so i can use it. I am just here to ask for any advice or certain things, what i should look for and replace, special tools needed ? and i will post my whole strip down and rebuild with pictures soon as i am away for 2 weeks soon then il begin stripping it down, thanks

Re: Rebuild
most important is to take photos as you strip it to refresh your memory on how to put it all back together without guessing.

Re: Rebuild
As mentioned take lots of photos, Also keep everything clean, dont drop anything inside and if you're not sure about something don'tdo it! get help from someone who knows. also don't strip any threads out as this will become expensive. Get hold of all the amnuals you can. Be 100% sure you know what you are getting into before you start
