Billing Aquadrome would be a good place to go, it's central and there's lots to do there...![]()
Surely all you need is a tent, sleeping bag and mat, off bike clothing and footwear and some personal care (toiletries to the blokes) items. The whole point of choosing somewhere like Billing Aquadrome is the proximity to amenities like shops, places serving food and drink, so people don't have to drag the kitchen sink with them.
By the way I checked out some reviews of Billing online and it would appear it isn't quite how I remember it. Mind you I've not been since around 2001 so I shouldn't be surprised.
LOL.

I think I should add a poll to see, aside from those who've already posted on here, would be interested in attending and whethere they'd prefer a single day or weekend. Suggestion for what to include in the poll are welcome.

How about meeting up at the Classic motorcycle mechanics show at Bingley Hall in Staffordshire 15th & 16th October. There is camping on site and it's 10 easy minutes from J14 M6 in a central location. Just a thought.

I'm up for this, whatever it is wherever the distance. I think a weekend would be good, so it's not too far to go for a burger and a coffee. And I like the idea of attending an event maybe so we can all meet up and have other things to do if we want.
I'm always up for camping and don't mind coming to lake district or going down south or wherever. I do live smack bang in the middle of the country though so fairly straight forward for me.
Something with a campsite, some good roads, good pubs and a local event sounds good. We can all meet up and then if some peeps want to go for a rideout they can and others can stay at the venue if they prefer, so it gives people options.
I'll bring the twister...

I'd love to come over and join. Unfortunately my bike probably won't fit in the overhead compartment on the airplane. Always wanted to visit the land of my ancestors in the UK. I wonder if there is anyway I could rent a bike there.
I'd ride all over Britain see the castles, green hills, Stone Hinge, museums,,,, must be a great place to own a bike when its not raining.

I'M IN!!!
me n my fella love a bit of camping too so that sounds sweet!
i like the idea of moving it around the country each time, keeps it interesting.
I hear norfolk is a lovely place to visit... plenty of good pubs, campsites and aesthetically pleasing
altho the roads themselves aren't exactly track quality...
