gk76a "coughing"

Post by ben2306 »

hi guys,
i'm stuck with this problem. my bike when idle, rpm dying. when headlight on, stall. sparks plug all 4 firing. i used wd40 to spray @ each pipe, smoking. i squat beside endcan listen, its as if the throttle is blipping every 2-3 secs, like a bull. fuel smell can be smelt. rpm drop 200+, making it dying.
anybody can tell me whats wrong? 2 days ago it was like that then afternoon, back to normal again. now it comes again. actually this problem has been with my bike for months. every 3months, i changed my plugs thinking it was running rich, plugs spoilt. but just now i tested, nothing wrong...
coils just changed also. needle changed but 2nd hand, few months back.

I had the same thing with my bike cutting out when I put the lights on or the cooling fans come on. It was a coil. The volt drop causes this.
Check your's again if they were not new ones.

Have you had the carbs checked over, it could be the "o" rings playing up and leaking air or fuel into the engine.

Certainly sounds like the o-rings are playing up. Good luck, and keep us informed.
