Clutch Plate Headache
As usual, something I thought would take a few minutes has managed to confuse the hell out of me. I installed new clutch plates (friction and metal) and new springs. I kept the ones coming out in order and just reversed the process going back in. I ended with a friction plate most outer. The GK76 parts manual shows a metal plate most outer. I watched a couple videos on Youtube for reference and they showed friction most outer. Did I goof or is the schematic in parts manual wrong?

Re: Clutch Plate Headache
If anyone was curious I was told all wet clutches have fiber plates in the most inner position and end with a fiber plate at the most outer position.

Re: Clutch Plate Headache
Ben,
Sorry I didn't take any pics of that part, I should have, I did for everything else. I didn't use any special tools although I know they make them. It just takes a little muscle to hold the clutch still while loosening the bolts.
