noobie with engine issues
Hi guy my first post and it may have been covered before bt i couldnt find anything with the search, long story short the block on my gsxr gk76a has a lovely (not) big hole in it and im looking for another engine now for it
i read on here somewhere that i can only use gk76 engines or have i got that wrong and its just a mounting issue that is different?

Hi, yep you can only use the 76a engine as it mounts up very differently to the 73a, what exactly is wrong with the old motor?

there is a big hole in the bottom of my motor about a fist sized hole i will try get a pic up, but im pretty sure it is well past being fixed

I have a gk76a engine with a blown top end if that's any help to you.
Also have a cylinder head that looks ok.

i have found a local guy with a 400 bandit is that worth a shot or should i not bother?

B4 is similar to the 73a and so no good as the B4 and 73a hang from the frame were as the 76a sits in the frame.
