Crash protectors?
Are there any crash protector kits out there that fit the GK76A? Don't want to have to start drilling and tapping holes in the frame to get some to fit!
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Crash protectors?
As far as I've been able to find, you want crash bungs, you'll have to modify the fairings.
Realistically, if you look at the bike, there's nowhere to mount a crash bung. Even the ones I've seen look like they'd be likely to damage the frame in an impact anyway.

Re: Crash protectors?
I managed to get R&G to make them.
They never listed them as far as i know. From memory you need to speak to Richard i think.
I have the original drawings i sent them somewhere.
They mount on the front lower engine mount. Just one hole each side on the belly pan.

Looks great .....I did'nt know you toured on it.
A few questions my man........What forks are they? what yokes did you use? was it a straight swao?Like the radials...what master cylinder? Are they standard wheels or just polished?
Maybe you could post a link to your build, if its on here, to save you my 20 questions....lol
Looks like a highly maintained and much loved bike Strpes........hats off mate.

Re: Crash protectors?
i built that in 2003. After the wedding i'll drag out the original build pics from before the fork swap for you.
forks are 636b1h. uses standard yokes. just needs a few extras made to fit the original wheel.
This is the first of many 76a's i have got. Before i moved down to Devon i used it to come down here to see LJ.
Oh yeah Armi finally posted your carb bits. Sorry about the delay.
