Little bit of an update and slight change of direction with the bike :o
Ive been riding the bike now for a 2 couple of months with the standard 30 engine in it and all is good, it fuels near perfect even with the SP1 TSR pipes, running 124 mains with RO needles and K&N filter. Sounds mint too

I was always going to put the RLR RVF engine back in but after seeing first hand how trick stephens RC45 is i want my RVF to be more of the same. I can live with no mirrors, speedo, indicators etc it doesnt need it.
So plan is to keep riding it and do the work when i can,

Remove right headlight
Move battery and electrics up front
Analouge rev counter and RVF/NSR digital temp
Oil, Neutral and shift lights
Fit RS250 axle
Rewire as per RC45 suzuka setup
Fit RLR engine
Fit waterpump, blanking plate for stock pump
Change to over the rad large airbox setup, maybe fit 35 carbs with short stacks?????

The list is bound to grow but thats the general plan,

Can anyone make me an oversized endurance tank for my RVF?

Good on you pal.
Can anyone make me an oversized endurance tank for my RVF?
If you are serious about this, speak with Rick about customer built ally tanks. He has one on his NC30

That RC45 is putting ideas in your head man!

On the subject of an analogue revcounter (old-school coolness! 8-) ) and in the words of someone whom I forget who, "here's one I made earlier":

It needs some tweeking/perfecting, but it's close to how I want it!

The ally stay is past its best and will most likely go in the bin but ive got some new foam to tidy it up, just need to add oil, neutral and shift lights.

The unit is a chopped up NC29 with a home-made printed dial/scale. Not sure how well it'll last in its current photo-paper form, but it'll have to do for now. Looking at the HRC unit on Stephen's lovely RC45, how close is my attempt at making this look as good?

Is that off an NSR250? It looks almost the exact same as the HRC!
Also, where you getting new foam from?

I can send you the Illustrator file so you can print it at home if you like, that's if you have Adobe Illustrator!?
To print it off an image file, ie: .jpeg, .bitmap, etc it wont come out the correct size, at least not unless I do some tweeking to the original file and save it as an image...

Here's another image: Image
