1987 Genesis intake
Hi, i recently bought an '87 Genesis "non runner" - well some fresh fuel and a spot of easy start later and it was away!
I was just wondering if there are any sort of intake pipes leading to the airbox on this model? I'm not too clued up on how the bikes look, so i wouldn't know if anything was missing. Does the airbox just suck it air from infront of the tank?
Cheers

Re: 1987 Genesis intake
There's no intake pipes on a Genesis model To be honest the pipes you see on the later 3en1 and 3en2 models are dummies and don't go into the airbox.
You might find the FZR600 3HE K+N air filter will fit but it doesn't make much difference it's the airbox shape that limits performance but the bikes don't run well on pod filters.
The Genesis bikes are nice - welcome to the forum
