NC30 finished, a few errors
Finished refurbing the 30, looks OK and rides well, but made a few errors, [decals].
I expect others will spot more bits not correct that I can,t see.
Dave.

Re: NC30 finished, a few errors
I can't see the pictures in work as the system blocks them, but even if I could the question is;
are you happy?
If you are happy then it doesn't matter what others think, does it?

I saw it so I took it!

I slipped up, I gave the painter RC30 belly pan decals by mistake, same size but more curved.ibby4585 wrote:The bottom Honda decals aren't quite right but its lovely in my opinion.

I traced the top cowl decal and Image Works printed some, it fits pretty well, but there should be more light blue showing at the bottom, although the measurement from the top to screw fixing hole is correct.
I think the decal is OK, as the one on the NC30 from Hell looks correct .
Although I had the fork paint code the supplier did not recognise it, so I had to take the fork and match up to his charts.
Not sure if it is correct until I see an original one.
Dave.

Close dave, to the untrained eye it looks fine.
Your right about the lower decals though, deffo a RC bend going on there.
also were the mids painted too ? something i have noticed on 99% of painted bikes, the lines don't line up and the angles go a bit wrong.
you look at a OE paint one, and the champagne stripe is hardly noticeable, and the line is straight with the seat line, painted ones are always deep gold and i wonder if that's what makes the lines stand out. bit of a visual mind trick.
