Help needed. Heres where im at Have cleaned ,replaced o rings in carbs fitted new o.5 emulsion tubes .Mixture screws 1.5 turns out.Balanced carbs
bike will tick over nice and smooth temp gauge moves nice on tick over which would never do before work on carbs
When i ride the bike IT pulls nice and revs well But temp gauge still sits at most the top of the c unless sat at a junction or traffic lights. Does it sound like i should of gone for new needles? or have needle heights wrong? or possibly just got mixture screws wrong .

Mine does that, i think its normal.

Even out on track it didnt move up much, but it went like the clappers!

I concur. It's my suspicion that the temp gauge is calibrated for the sort of temps you would experience running it in the red zone for long periods, it is after all a race bike.
My bike never gets above halfway on the road, even when hammered.
