Fuel leaking from carb on Cylinder 4
Hi Guys,
Rode home last night to get off my GK76A and find a steady stream of fuel leaking from one of the nipples on the float bowl. It now seems to leak every time the bike is run.
Looking at the side view of the carb on this link (next to "Carb removal" section) http://tonysleep.co.uk/gsxr400carbs its the left hand one on the float bowl that is leaking ie. not the one with the screw in it.
Can anyone tell me what is causing this? Is it linked to the classis O'Ring fault as i've recently noticed the bike is taking much longer to warm up on the temperature guage so I think their on their way out...
Thanks

Not 100% what you mean so it may be a float sticking or the bowl gasket, ive a set of bowl gaskets for sale in the parts section.

Cheers mate, I don't think its the float bowl gasket as its coming out of one of the two nipples on the bottom of the float bowl rather than out of the flange where the bowl meets the main carb body. Cheers for the heads up on the gaskets for sale though as i'll no doubt need them when I take the carbs apart to fix the leak and put in new O-rings.
To clarify, with the carbs mounted on the bike as normal there are two nipples on the bottom of the float bowl. One is the float bowl drain (with a bleed screw) and the other one is the one thats leaking (which is towards the airbox side of the carb away from the engine).
Sticking float bowl sounds like the possible culprit...

99% sure it's a sticking float in the carb bowl.
I had the same problem on mine after I did a 1200 mile run around scotland.
You may as well hit up Variablevalves suck for a new O-ring set right now.
