Crumbs,

I Tried backing the Preloads off by one ring (Thats 4 turns on both sides)

The bike rode really crap!

Choppy ride - loads of input from the "bumpy Road" - prev setting was fine on the same route.
Crap cornering - vague front end. ran wide

I'm back to preload to max again - for the time being!
Suspension work looks like it is expensive business!

Cheers

Will a CBR600 FX 2000 shock fit an NC29?

Thanks, and sorry for the hijack...

Recon Maxton and recon CBR600 NC29 rear shock kits all in stock.

From £220 for a bolt in CBR600 based conversion with new Ohlins spring to match your weight and the all important GF CNC made spring platform.

Plus recon road / track upgraded forks from £60 a leg all weight matched again.

Hope that helps - prices inc. VAT BTW - just add shipping.

Cheers
