Motrax Mini Indicators on a 4DX/3TJ?
Not usually one for deviating from standard parts too much, but after fitting Motrax mini's on my '97 Blade they just made it look miles better (IMO of course )
So, the indicators on my FZR400 are a tad bulky and i'm thinking i may well change them for smaller/neater units from Motrax (they can always be swapped back should the originality bug come and bite me!). Anyone got them fitted? I can't see that Motrax make specific blanking plates for the 400's.
Anyone give me a heads up on what i can use, if anything?
Cheers,
Rob

Mine has small oval type with clear lenses. You don't need a blanking plate because they fit through a hole in the fairing and on the mudgaurd at the rear.
You need the longer stemed ones for the front, the picture shows them with short stems and they only just reach the mounting plate

It was until it was clipped by a car that batterred the can and twisted the rear subframe a little. I've got all the bits to go on it now ... and then a few more I just haven't done it.
I'll have a go at it again in March when the weather warms up.
It's a standard 3TJ with:
Bembo radial master / goodrich hoses / standard calipers / ebc hh pads.
SP forks
EMC rear shock
Supercorsa pros (part worns)
520 chain and sporkets
There's a Baglux tank cover and tank bag
DB skidmarx screen
Extra padder pillion saddle (for Significant Other)
DHM Footpegs
I've got lots of bodywork atm so I'm going to make a good set with all the stickers for a change !!!
I ought to do a 600 conversion but the Bimota always seems to soak up my time and money

Ok-ish. It's a pain because I can't move the heavy stuff without my bf's help It should be done soon though, it's a case of finding the time to make the engine plates up then assembly is simply the reverse of disassembly I should've stripped the 3TJ right down and left the 600 lump on the lift rather than listen to my bf and jack the lump into the chassis. Ah well, lesson learnt, I'll know for next timeEvilchicken0 wrote:Ta Luv ... how's the hybrid coming on ???
