1WG rear wheels
Are all the 1WG/2TK rear wheels interchangeable, ie will a 3EN1 or 2 wheel fit into a Genesis or 2TK? I know the caliper hangers are different. Definites please, no hearsay or conjecture

Re: 1WG rear wheels
Thanks Taggy, I've got a 3EN1 wheel myself, I just want to know if the 3EN1 and 2 wheels are the same width across the hub as the earlier 1WG and 2TK (as in, will a 17" wheel I have modified to suit a 3EN1 swingarm suit all FZR400s that are saddled with an 18" rear wheel.)

Re: 1WG rear wheels
I reckon (so this isn't actually based on fact) the 3EN1 and 3EN2 are ok ... they'll also fit up to a 600 with the right brake carrier. They might fit a 2TK again with the right carrier but less probably the Genesis, as it had narrower tyres than the others.
Narrower tyres could mean narrower swingarm and wheel .... possibly

Re: 1WG rear wheels
Are you sure the genesis had thinner tyres than the rest evil?
It says 140/60 in the brochure.
I'd of thought they'd all be the same as its a yamaha. They re-use parts all over the place.

Re: 1WG rear wheels
I was basing it on my old 3en2 having a 150 ... I'm not sure if that's the right size or not though

Re: 1WG rear wheels
genesis and 2tk have the same rear wheel, and as far as i know so does the 3en1( probably the 3en2 as well). all fitted with a 140/60/18 tyre

Re: 1WG rear wheels
Yes all the fzr400's pre 3TJ's use the same front and rear wheels. Didn't know there was a difference in the caliper stay though, what's different about it?
