1wg plastics
Hi All,
I have got an '86 1wg and the fairing is a bit tatty (mostly due to the Lodge corner kitty litter) and i was after some replacement side panels.
The panels on mine split into two pieces and i cannot find any spares for love nor money. i have come accross some 3en1 panels that are 1 piece - does anyone know if they fit or if they are easily modified to fit? Alternatively does anyone have any 1wg plastics?
cheers
bob

There's a 2TK bodykit on the bay at the moment which is probably close to your's but it's not standard colours and is £199
FZ600 stuff is close although I'm told it's not a match, you might need the fiaring brackets and then get a bit jiggy with some drilling and cutting. There seems to be more of this in the USA than here (on ebay) but if you got it from one seller and had it sent surface post it might be ok. The FZ600 was an official bike for the UK so you might find a breakers with some.
You could also look for a FZR600 fariing and make it fit with the associated brakets

The 2tk plastic front plastics are identical (different graphics obviously ;o)
I would also kill for some 1wg front plastics.... nose cone and left lower especially. The dont come up on ebay very often and and I know of at least another chap looking on there for some. Fowlers do the white nose cone without graphics for about £130 and I'm told skidmarkz do a cheap replica set.
