Re: HELP!!!!!! GK73A Carb needles
Ye its strange how they cut at the top where they sit in the slide, ive a set that are 75% gone and you wouldnt expect them to go in this area seeing as they sit in plastic. I think it must be that being a very lose fit allows them to be worn by the constant vibration from the bike.

Re: HELP!!!!!! GK73A Carb needles
Just thought i'd update this thread with some new developments!!
Riders of Yeovil can supply the 5DH7 carb needles for £16.90 + vat which works out at £83 a set!!
However i have just picked up a second hand set of carbs for £24.99 off Ebay (love that site sometimes!!) which have three lovely unworn needles in them!! They're very dirty but thats what carb cleaner was invented for!!
So armed with a o ring kit from Variablevalves suck i will be rebuilding the carbs and hopefully get the bloody thing running!!!

Re: HELP!!!!!! GK73A Carb needles
Top work- ive used Riders for rare jap parts for my VVC bandit before but any thing for the carbs is megga money, the o'ring set i supply for £11 would set you back over £80 from Suzi.
Its good that you got some needles as i called in the brakers today for the GS500 carbs but all the bikes have gone, same as there was a complete Zx4 that you may have been interested in to brake.
