GK73A Replacement / After-market Carbs
I have read here (viewtopic.php?f=53&t=14401&p=98895&hili ... rbs#p98895), that one can fit the carbs from a Bandit onto a GK73A. Does this apply to after-market carbs for the bandit as well?
Keihin has got some FCR carbs for bandits...

I have found out that the engine on the GK75 (Bandit) is the same as on the GK73. But I suspect the carbs aren't the same due to the fact that the airboxes differ

Re: GK73A Replacement / After-market Carbs
Bandit FCR carbs are a direct fit onto the 73a as both bikes share the same standard carb bodys. The FCR's are 99% of the time supplied with velocity stacks fitted and jetted for no air box. There's a air box conversion kit available but this adds substantially to the cost. Also Mikuni make the TMR's which are very similar, i have a set of these on my 73a SP but im not running the stock air box.

You can only use the gixer or bandit ones so its a case of waiting for a set to come up on ebay or take the old ones to a good ally welder and get them repaired, if you are any where near Stoke i may be able to get them welded for you.
