Dyno Printout - what does it mean?
There was an open day at one of our local bikeshops today and they had a dyno there for £15 a go.
I put the 400 on it and its producing 57 bhp but only 27 ft lb of torque.
Im sure the 57 bhp is sort of ok, the bikes had a few mods done to it but its done about 50,000 miles and been thrashed for most of those so im happy with the power and its a nice smooth curve up to 12,000 rpm where it levels off (slightly up and down) until 14,000 rpm. - would bigger main jets give me a bit more top end? the air/fuel also dips at this point and goes under the dashed red line (12 on the graph) - in an ideal world, should the air/fuel ratio be on the dashed red line all the way up the rev range?
Cheers
Ian

if you can scan the print outs, 2 i presume? and put them up here, im sure there is a few people who could give you the jet sizes/needle positions to improve it

Ok, so this should work. good old facebook!

It looks pretty smooth up to about 10k and then goes a bit wobbly. and the fuel/air ratio takes a huge dip at about the same time.
the bike is a standard engine with a gf ss pipe, micron end can and gf jets. its also got dynatec coils on it.
