I don't know anyone with an fzr unfortunately, can I just test these with a multimeter?

I'm in manchester but the bike is in London (Thornton Heath) at my girlfriends house, I'll be going back down to have another crack at her (bike and girlfriend) in a week or so.

Thankyou mate I will do that, I've got so close to getting it back to glory and I'm at a loss with this last problem.
