Vibration

Post by billnit »

After a long rebuild I've mangaged to get the bike (NC35) out on the road a couple of times this week

Noticing some vibration coming through the footpegs - to the extent that my feet "buzz" for a couple of mins after getting off the bike!

Bike seems to run ok generally, with no noticeable power loss etc.

Worried that it might be a bearing, but hope i'm just being paranoid.

Got the engine from Graeame F with a recent service carried out, and have only done 100 miles since putting it in, so pretty sure it's not that.

Is there anything else that can be causing the vibes!?!?!?

Funny you mentioned that. I was out on the bike on sunday and it felt alot more 'vibey' than previous. I had my chain off not long ago for some work i was doing, anyway i checked it last night and i had it way too tight. So i'll adjust it and see if that helps.
