led indicators on rvf400
ok im having some problems getting my indicators working on my rvf
i have 4 led indicators, 4 50w led resistors
now im not sure how to fit the resistors
front i have left hand side orange, orange/white green
right hand side blue, blue/white / green
rear green, orange and blue
im guessing blue/white and green/white i dont use
so to which wires do i connect the resistor?
thanks alex

Correct, the white striped ones are for side-lights :-)

You mount them between the 2 wires that go to each indicator (bridge).code2006 wrote:Cool . Do u know how to fit the resistors tho?Neosophist wrote:Correct, the white striped ones are for side-lights :-)
Resistors are a very dodgy fix to LED indicator problems IMO but they should get the indicators flashing at a more decent rate. Much better to use an electronic flasher but some other mods might be needed (they were on my nc30).

Most auto stores carry universal electronic flasher relays.

Cool maybe my local car spares place might have some. I guess this replaces the normal relay which is near the cdi or wot ever it's called the big box lolCammo wrote:Most auto stores carry universal electronic flasher relays.
