con rod shell size code
hi all so recently ive been feeling a vibration in the left foot peg at around 6 thousands revs.
so when I did a oil change at the weekend the sump was removed just to check the shell and crank codes to order new shells and unsurprisingly there were bits of copper in the sump
what was surprising is that I could not find the con rod shell code on any of the rods
with very limited vision. So if i strip the engine will I likely find them on the side of the rods or is there another another way to find them or measure them?

Re: con rod shell size code
thanks viper but there are 3 diffrent size of shells matched acordingly to the code marked on the crank and con rods. ive got the crank code (A1) but there should be a code similar to this painted on the con rod. according to the haines manual it should be in between the split of the big end however its not there
