Tacho ??

Post by maderdog_1024 »

My Tacho is not working, am i right in thinking this is just connected via the loom and ignition coil ??

Is it possible to connect the coils the wrong way around and hence no tacho ??

Dont think it can be connected the wrong way round, its the black with yellow tracer from the coil.

Hi Mike,
The black with tracer is direct to the tacho. on one side you have orange (+12volts) and white from the cdi, from the other you have orange (+12v) and black with tracer from cdi to coil to tacho.
