Some bolts, a 24 system and that should be it...
not sure how the rear routing of the system would go with the shock location etc but something could be worked out....

We've seen a 30 frame holding a 24 motor so I see no reason why it would not work...cannot recall the member name but it might come to me...

You going to get on it Dale? Any reason?

Not that hard.

You'll obviously need NC24 wiring loom / CDI box, can't remember off hand which NC30 ancillaries mate up with the NC24 loom, you might have to do a bit of chopping / changing, reg/rec plug is different... but it's not that difficult.

You'll need the NC24 coils too as it has 4 instead of 2.

You might want to use the NC24 exhast system as the NC30 system (which will fit if it's in a 30 frame) is split front rear as opposed to left / right.. (although i'd try the 30 system.. see how it functions)

You could do it in a day if you had all the parts and tools.

Thanks for the replies.

I have a rather shagged 24 with a very good motor, and a 30 frame, swingarm, etc. Seems it would be easier to just do a 30 than a 24, especially since parts for 24's are like hens teeth over here, 30 parts are a little easier.

Besides, 30's look and handle much better ;)

Yep, theres a guy on here with a NC30 thats got a 24 motor in it.

You can use the 30 rads for improved cooling (not that that 24 motor gets hot anyway)

You'll need to fabricate a bracket to hold the oil-cooler.

It's not hard, i'd go for it :D
