just been having a look online but not really had any sucess , what sort of money should i be payeing to have two wheels and a top yolk done? (if that how you spell it)

whats the advantage over just having my wheels painted?

its yoke on a bike

powder coating is baked on and is much harder than paint, however it doesnt make it chip resistant, its resistant to most chemicals though, where as paint isnt,

its down to budget and preference!

haha i didnt look right when i wrote it . the bike is turning into a nightmare. one thing after another.

i thought that when i bought mine 2 months ago, but when one problems solved it wont come back. however it wont prevent others tbh, i spend more time working on the bike than riding it and i kinda like it that way creates a bond i think that will reward in the long run.

yeah i know what you mean i have done about 600 miles and the bike already parked up in the garage ready for winter. will be worth it when its finnished

ill never put mine asleep, ill be using it in sunny cold days in the winter very cold air = more oxygen and its great for the engine to have a deep breathe, also im doing the bikesafe course in north wales in sept, and dragon rally in feb so will be in the heart of the winter then.

im not a fair weather biker but in the middle of having the house done up and with a baby something had to give, the missus still lets me buy parts for the bike but the have to sit in the garage untill the house is done

youve done it all the wrong way round the bike should and must come first

i did the house, then the baby, then the bike, and even now my mrs is still not happy, they never will be!

I've searched around my area for the cost of powdercoating and the cheapest I got was £35 each including blasting. If your wheels are already prep'd just for powder coating then its a bit less.

thats very true , i just buy stuff when shes gone to bed. by the time she knows its to late.
