Rick's radiators - fitted, pictures -

Post by gonzothegreat »

After waiting for 4 weeks, my new radiators  have finally turned up today.
They are now fitted (well, not 100% finished).

The build quality is 10/10, no questions about that.
They are definitely bigger than the original ones as you can see from the pictures below.
Obviously, I can't tell how much better they are until I got the bike back on the road.
I will report next Monday.

Do they actually improve the cooling, or are they just bling.... ;)

Are there any issues with fairing and infill clearances?

I have not fitted the fairing yet, but I don't think there are any issues with it.

Yep they are so much more than just a bit of bling

Not sure if mine are ricks or another make but mine need a hole cut out of each side of the lower fairing in order to fit

See the round hole cut out of the bottom panel

Oh and also on the other side one of the coolent pipes runs in a slightly different place which doesnt match up with the cutout/moulding on the panel, doesnt really notice to be honest but if you have a nicely painted set of bodywork id think about sorting this as it wont do your paint anygood.
