3TJ Clutch Lever.

Post by Alex. »

Hi Guys,

Are there any bikes that share the clutch lever with the 3TJ?
I'm thinking of getting some of the ebay levers, but they don't have a clutch lever.

I could really do with a span adjustable clutch lever but simply can't find one. If anyone knows any that are a straight replacement I'd love to know, my fingers are too short and after a full track day I can't move my hand!

I've not been able to find decent aftermarket levers either. Though I did find that the FZR6 and TRX850 levers are the same.

My latest thought is to replace the clutch lever bracket that clamps to the clip on, with another bikes cable clutch clamp and get a lever for that. I think that most companies do an early R6 lever.

So should I lokk for a complete early R6 assembly and then fit an aftermarket lever or were the early ones span adjustable anyway? Looks like an ebay search is in order.
