are RF carbs the same

Hi everyone

Could any one tell me if the carbs from a suzuki rf 400 are the same as my GSXR 400 GK76A if not is there anyothers as I have 2 stuck mixture screws that will not come out and I want to replace the o-rings.

As far as i'm aware, the carbs are the same as on the RF600 and RF900, unless you have a GK76a SP, in which case the carbs are different.

If you got pilot screws stuck in place you put the carbs upside down on a bench, put Quality penitrating oil (not wd40) in and leave acouple of days, then using a GOOD fitting screwdriver you will get them out. Ive had plenty stick due to corrosion between the zinc washer and carb body and always got them out.

Thanks For the advice, I have tried everything from heat to impact screwdrivers, in the end I have had them machined out by a engineering freind and have ordered two new screws, hopefully all thats left to do now is fit all the new orings and enjoy for the rest of the summer( if we get anymore sun!!!!)
