NC29 Carb mixture screw?
Hi there
i have cleaned all of my carbs and stupidly took the mixture screw out without making a note of how many turns it was?
can somebody give me a starting reference of turns from the fully done up position?
thanks
james

Hi
I have found somewhere that you should turn the mixture screw out from fully done up by 2 1/4 turns...
can anybody second this??
thanks

Re: NC29 Carb mixture screw?
For a standard NC29 that is correct but you may want to try an extra quarter if you have an uprated exhaust system. Also "fully done up" does not mean tight, just closed upto the point with out undue pressure.

So, for modified card\exhaust we need to have 2 1/2 turns.

2 1/2 was very rich for me. I set up 2 1/4 like it descibed in manual. I'll check spark plug lettter are this rich or poor. And let you know.

Not too much...NYKIE wrote:any news parus??
Fuel mixture is VERY rich now.
Settings:
Pilot - 2 1/2 for all card
KENSO Jet kit: 126 main jet and needles in middle positions
Filter: K&N
Exhasut: HRC full system + TYGA can.
Today or during weekend we are going to check some main jets and different pilot screw positions. So, I don't understand japanesse KENSO company, who supply such big main jet to this kit.
