lo all,

i have holes drilled in the carbs where i previously have dyno jets fitted, what do i use to fill these holes? cheers, ;)

Do you mean the main air jet's were drilled for a restrictor? Slides drilled? More info.

i cant remember of the top of my head i think it was below the slides, i was wandering if i could use glue or some sort of silicon, or if they was a product for filling speicialy for carbs, maybe i need to pull em out and take some picks as my post is becoming embarasingly vague :oops:

DONT use silicone as it will expand and gum up or block jets, just recently had to change a set of carbs where the float bowls had been put back on with the stuff and the bowls were virtually full of the resutant gooeeyy mess....YUK

proberly best if you get new slides...i had mine drilled once...once.

I've got a set of slides that someone butchered: The holes were drilled to about 4 mm! They must of realised their error and filled it with epoxy and re-drilled them - not a pretty sight!

...4mm is disgusting
much easier putting lighter springs in to get the same effect...if its wrong you try different springs
