NC23 fork Mods (Sorry probably already on here)

Post by LozVTR »

Hi all,

Ive had a look but cant find the answer im looking for, Im sure I read it somewhere.

Im looking at upgrading the forks / brakes on the NC23. I was looking at using the NC30 fork lowers so I could mount the larger NC30 calipers.

What upper forks / springs etc should I use? I dont really want to mess about with the yokes etc.

any help would be appreciated.

Ta

cool, thanks for that. You dont happen to know which model?

the reason I wanted to use NC30 lowers was because I have a set already.

I've put the NC30 lowers on, straight swap so i could use the 4 pot calipers. I was disappointed with the results compared to a refreshed standard set up(as on my road bike). I'm going to try fresh pads EBC HH and new fluid and make sure that the pistons all move freely. I've also fitted a radial master cylinder from a GSXR750K4, and to be honest I was expecting to bury my nose into the tarmac, but no... (could be due to the snow at the last 2 trackdays I was at...).

lol...thanks tricky.

I think im going to try the re-fresh route anyway and change the springs in the forks to suit my weight etc etc.
the lower legs have started to peel so il get those re-coated whilst im at it.

does the radial master cylinder work withthe standard setup or would it put too much pressure on the hoses?
