DIFFERENCES - HRC vs M MAX Ignition de-restriction box

Post by STYLER »

Hi i went to put a HRC Ignition box on my NC30 today and realised its already got a M-MAX box fitted!! DOH
Does anyone know if there is there any performance/functionality differences these two boxes as they look totally different? The M-Max box is small and cube like in shape compared to the larger, heavier rectangular shape of the HRC.
Will the HRC unit be safer or better etc??

cheers peeps!

They both fool the CDI into thinking you have a speedo connected and also that the speedo never reads above 180kmh.

That is all...

Probably not, you can build your own with a 6p resistor :-)

Certainly never heard of anyone having trouble with an M-Max / Posh Firm / <generic copy here> model
