Re: HID ballast kits info
How about this kit?
Sounds like the nc29, nc30 and nc23 imports all have the same bulbs as standard

Re: HID ballast kits info
Hey w00dzy I would give that one a miss, doesnt look right to me as its got two bulbs per unit. The one I had (LP has now) only had 1 bulb per unit and switched over via a spring. I got it from HIDS Direct at £65 delivered I think.w00dzy wrote:How about this kit?

yup that kit doesnt look good.
even the older kits i had only have one bulb that is pulled in/out with a servo.
key search is:
HID H4 Hi/Lo kit
need to order some new connectors and get on with fitting Durkas set.

>i'd put the ground to the frame. as to the rest of the problem, hard to diagnose as you may have (hard tho) fitted it wrong, the ballasts/bulbs may be a bad batch. sounds like the initial start up is there, but power runs out.
where exactly and how have you fitted the kit, have you cut anything, shortened the loom etc?

Re: HID ballast kits info
I have a kit like that in my NC. I also have a projector HID bi-xenon custom install on my 900RR Fireblade. I would really love to find some clear lenses for my NC so I can do the same to it.
