Total loss advice
Hi all,
Those of you that run a total loss on your race bike, do you have a blanking plug on the end of the crank or do you just leave it open?
Also what sort of run time do you get from your batteries, and does anyone run the uprated battery that Rick oliver has?
Cheers

Thanks Drunken Munky.
The bit i mean , is the bolt on the end of the crank, that holds the fly wheel and genny on the tapered shaft. do you just leave the bolt out or use the one that holds the fly wheel on?
Cheers

Oh i see, just leave the bolt out. Your wanna keep the wiring gromet thats attached to the 3 yellow wires in place or it'll leak oil

Thanks Drunken Munky, will leave it off.
Also keep the rubber grommet in
That is the sort of thing i would forget. I put the heads back on at the weekend, and i thought something didn't look right. I checked the front cylinders and all looked okay, then i realised that the rear head gasket was on back to front, and the little oil passage was sticking out into the void for the cam gears. so had to get it apart and swap it round. What a dummy
