wickid, its about 30 miles for me but there awesome miles, i go up the 272 to loomies, then left onto the a32 into alton, hang around a bit then back sown the a32, hang about at loomies a bit and then go home on the 272, all in all its a good night out, I'll get in contact when the vfr is on the road.

yeh sure mines 07729573023, as it looks i should be bringing 2 other mates on sv's but doubt they will ride so il try an get them to help out marshaling, do we need our own overalls smev as mine are at thruxton and i doubt i will be able to get them back any time soon

I don't think you will need overalls, just either normal clothes or your leathers if you are riding up. You get a full brief of whats expected when you are there.
Its probably best to mention on the track day thread on http://www.omcc.co.uk who is intending to come as passes need sorting out prior to the event if possible.

Anyway - back to the bike!

This weekend i sorted the front brakes - the feel awesome!! even though i've not ridden it!! doees that make sense?!!
However in the reservoir, I'm sure there should be a rubbery piece to stop any spills/leaks - like on the VFR one. anyone got any ideas?

I also got the exhuast end can and link pipe finished and fitted - now it looks great! (some pics to follow soon)

Oh yeah, another issue i had was the reservoir catching on the front fairing but I'm sure with a little adjustment I can get it to clear it :)

Next thing to do is possibly sort out the shims and carbs seeing as its mostly stripped down then fire her up once I've relocated the ignition!!

I have also been thinking of a new dash/ display - Ideas?

Yes, there should be. That (I think) is to allow for the fluid to heat up and cool down and not sieze you pistons. You will need that little rubber bit. Probably no more than £10 from a dealership.

wow i love those yokes... definetly need more modern clocks tho, the shape is timeless but the clocks are vintage
