Re: sprockets
The part numbers are the same for the front sprockets on Dave silver spares. So they will be interchangeable. But the rears I cant help you with.

Re: sprockets
gear box is a hell no!
the VFR4 has extremely tall gears.. it can do 60-70mph in 1st! my CBR can only do 40mph in 1st and its screaming its tits off! VFRs are known for the torque and gearbox.. CBRs are not.. yet feel faster than a NC30 on acceleration (personal experience).. go figure

Re: sprockets
I think the OP meant "Gearbox sprocket" and "rear sprocket" rather than the actual gearbox. Or thats how I read it anyway.
As for the gearing, Did you find the NC29 and NC30 were that different?
Ive owned both, and to be honest, Ragged the S**t out of both as well. I found the NC30 capable of around 55 in first, And my NC29 used to do about 50. Now it touches 40 because ive played with the sprocket sizes. (although it reads about 60 in first).

Re: sprockets
"gearbox sprocket" is called FRONT sprocket as its in front of the rear as you sit on the bike....unless you sit backwards!
rear sprocket is as it is.....lol
i read it as gearbox AND sprockets...
