It connects to the clutch diode, sidestand indicator and ground. the reason it says gear position sensor is because it prevent the bike to be start in gear.

Yes, I saw this but all of them based on wheel speed sensor and looks like not so precise. It I run to quickly but on the 2 gear it can show me 3.. Correct me if I wrong.zul_cbr wrote:maybe u mean for this ? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bCsoqclU ... re=related" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Re: Gear position sensor. Possible ?
Hi,
Stop me if I wrong. We can use GPS (gear position sensor) from GSXR or maybe similar

And join it this the GEAR SHIFT CAM. Looks like it should be similar. Anu ideas ?

Re: Gear position sensor. Possible ?
Hi Parus,
The idea is correct as the gsxr sensor gives a different resistance for each gear but its designed to be mounted at the other end of the selector and is connected to ground by a small pin/spring arrangment thats very different to the claw in the picture. The sensor fits outside the casing and the selector drum is smooth except for the pin.
Pm me your email and i will send you a parts list so you can see the parts.
Chris.
