Superb weather all weekend!

Visited friends in Southampton on Friday night so simple M3 blat down to them. Then A31/35 along to the A30. On the way back today I wanted to make quicker progress so A30/A303.

Lost count of how much petrol money I've spent!!!!

What gearing you running steve? you've lowered it slightly havent you. Just wondered how you got on with it on the long journey. I was thinking of lowering the gearing on my 30 but after a good ride today i dont think it needs it, i can red line it in 6th on a flat! my old standard geared rvf wouldnt get nowhere near the red line. Clocked it with the gsxr and a mates zx10 today at 147! i think the gsxr and zx clocks are being a bit optimistic but still im pleased as punch with it, dare i say i prefer it too the previous RVF's  current RVF excluded ;)

Nice one for doing those miles on the NC tho, im comtemplating a trip to the parents in cornwall on the NC, or may just wimp out and stick it in the van.

Hayle, just up from the Maccy D's where a bike meet is im told, wednesdays i think

Bloody hate the jorney in the car, is it the A303 that just goes on and on....and on and on...? you get the picture, it would be more fun on the bike im sure but would most likely cripple me
