Just bought another NC30!!
Hi guys thought you would like to see this, sorry for the poor quality pics, taken from my phone quickly in someone elses garage. This thing is a true barn find, bought in the late nineties by the daughter of a friend and only ridden a handful of times as a result its done 4990km, about 3000 miles! It's like a time warp, original uncut exhaust and mint plastics, it even has the Honda safety sticker on the screen. It has been garaged all that time so its not corroded anywhere, a bit dusty and mucky from the last ride, fuel has gone stale and no doubt the carbs need a clean out. I'll post more pics when I pick it up next Wed. Not bad for 1500 quid!

Re: Just bought another NC30!!
Agreed. Great buy.
Ideally you'll wanna give it a good over-haul before your tempted to play, as well as checking everything...
* Clean carbs out
* New fuel
* New Oil / Oil Filter.
* New brake fluid
* Check the airbox/filter . i've seen mice nest in them beforenow.
* New battery.. the old one might take a charge but it'll probably kill the reg-rec (maybe r6 mod the reg while your there?)
* Tyres might be shot too.
The bike will love you for it
Finally got one of my storage finds up and running (even though it ran badly after trying to start it straight away) and now it's fantastc. Glad I took my time with it

Re: Just bought another NC30!! Pics Added
Just had a good clean up and polish, used 'gunk' on all the greasy parts, wheels, sprockets and linkages with a toothbrush, then Tcut on the bodywork followed by Plexus with a soft cloth. Thought you might like to see the result, I'm pleased to say the least!

The only part of the bike that looks a bit rough is the top yoke so I ask you, respray it or leave completely origional?

That is looking very clean indeed.
Well done.
The top yoke looks ok in the photo, I'd leave it.
