Please help! Need fork tube/stanchion

Post by mace »

Hi All

I need a fork tube/stanchion for my CB400sf 93 NC31 to pass MOT.

Found one on wemoto for 97.50.

Anyone know a cheaper supplier?

Cheers

£80 per stantion: http://www.allbikeengineering.co.uk/index.html

Came across this website a while ago myself, haven't bought from them, but I think someone else on here said about them. Don't think you'll get much cheaper than that though.

I have a decent spare pair of CB-1 forks that you could make an offer on. They're not correct, as they are single disc. But the inners will fit together with your outers. You'd be looking at new forkseals to do the change over. I don't know the lengths you need. Please don't ask me to measure anything, as they're not at my house, and I don't have a CB any more. It's a want it/don't want it deal. Email me through the forum if you do want :)
