I wouldnt of thought it'd be too difficult to make the bracket out of some sheet aluminium the top part is just a flat sheet with a curved lip and some holes. The underside is a little more complicated but its out of sight so it doesnt have to be pretty.

Having said all that mead speed mention they have a tz mounting bracket for those straps so you might be lucky and it may be the same.

As for the seat unit, no promises but i'm about halfway through making a fibreglass mould from mine as i'm making a carbon fibre one. So i'll hopefully have some glassfibre ones going spare soonish. It does depend on how nicely i can polish a turd though!

Thats superb Martin thanks for that, I,ll order the strap tommorow, unfortunatly the part 627 bracket is only a twohole jobbie & diferent to the fzr item, not to worry, ig I cant get one anywhere I,ll try & make something up. I,d me most grateful if you could knock up a seat unit to sel me mate,

strap came from meadspeed today, original yamaha new in the bag for £11 delivered, well pleased.
