Gear shifting is not smooth when engine is hot and more...

Post by Angel6 »

Hi Friends, I need your advice and opinion and possible solutions.

1. Gear shifting is not smooth when engine is hot. What do you think?

2. When shifting gear on a bike how fast should i press the gear? I mean not just drag it and ASAP just snap it? I know I should not be press the gear peg for a second, it has to be super fast?

3. My bike gets really damn hot (when I touch top valve cover plate I feel). Is that normal? I do hav the radiator working.

Im a newbie.

Thank you

Hi Angel,
Usually a sign the oil needs changing. The Suzi's get heavy and wont go into neutral when hot. Also check the radiators topped up.
