Aftermarket CDI?

Post by Varcon »

Hey guys...

Whats your take on this..

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Derestricted-CDI- ... 3a568dc2f8" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Im not convinced that my bike is running the correct CDI unit...its current code is 32900-32C00, can anyone please confirm if this is right for a GK76A?

Thanks!

Edd

Hi mate,
It will remove the 180kph restriction but nothing more.
32900-32C00 is a 400 code but i carnt remenber if its for a73a or 76a.
You can remove the restriction with a simple resistor that goes between the gear wire and ground.

I dont care about any restrictions at the moment, i just want to get the thing revving cleanly! Im not sure if the electrics are the standard or not! The CDI had be bolted on under the seat and it didnt look like a factory fitting thats all...makes one wonder!

Can anyone give me the code of their CDI on a GK76A thats running please?
