It was not to bad at the time but the next couple of days were worse. I could hardly bend my legs.

Aw Spooks. Feel for you bro. At least bikes can be mended and just think of all the fun you're gonna have picking those scabs off. Back when you were 5, that would have only been a flesh wound and you'd have been off kicking a ball about after feeling sorry for yourself for 15 minutes :D
