3TJ wiring and generator/pickup on 4JH
I'm toying with the idea of running a 4JH engine with a 3TJ generator, flywheel and pickup because the spare 4JH motor I have has god knows what flywheel/pickup setup on the end of the crank and I have all of the parts to stick the 3TJ setup on it.
Has anyone tried this and failed, just to stop me wasting my time or is it OK to go (rev limit issues aside)?

i tried to put a 3tj flywheel onto the 4jh motor on my first hybrid and im sure the the two flywheels are keyed onto the end of the crank differently as the tj flywheel wouldnt fit.

I put a 4JH pick up on my 3tj when I broke that one and it didn't work as the resistance is slightly different. You would have to use the 4JH pick up.
