Probably not the best choice for a 400 as they are ZR rated and you will struggle to kepp or get them warm. Unless tracking on hot days in fast.
Better off with H rated. Thats why Alphas and 090's are so good. They are designed for the 250/400 cc market. ZR are designed for 600cc+

Be carefull here, Double check the width of the rear. As although it states 160 as a width each tyre manufacturer has a different idea of size & I have had some tyres rub against the chain. You may be OK but just beware.

Got them on my gsxr750 in 120/180 sizes, Excellent tyre. way out lasts any other tyre ive had too and in my opinion gave the best feedback. As has been said tho im not sure how there work on a 400, Im thinking of sticking maxxis supersports on my rvf as their dirt cheap and were great on bigger bikes ive had them fitted to although again cant be sure if thier be anygood on a 400.

Thats a good job they are for my nc23 hybrid which has a cbr 600 fl engine in it..

Cheers for the replies..

I have fitted an nc29 rear wheel so that the tyre will fit.

Any idea on road/track day tyre pressures?

The best I have found on my race bikes is the BT016 and they are a good street tire aswell. I have them on my 848. A three compound thread that is a awesome tire.

I put someMichelins on my 23 a few years back. same as used in the Supersports series at the time.
I never felt comfortable with them > They were great in the wet. I only used them on track but in the dry, they kept moving when I pushed so...... The wet, I was braking harder and later in the rain than I was in the dry.
I sold them with over a 1000 miles on them and no wear really to a mate who was chuffed to bits with them though he only rode on the road and I have no idea if he was a proper rider.
Back to 090's and happy again any weather
