Well the track day was yesterday and it was awesome

Thanks to the guys who were marshalling all day ;)

I had a great time on my bike (its first outing after my off) and there were several other 400's there too - 3 cbr 400's, a gsxr 400 and two NC30's.

The police turned up with their speed gun - 174mph was the highest recorded speed but the copper recons that the bikes were starting to brake by the time he zapped them!! :o

Honda,Triumph, and BMW had stands / displays on. there was a mechanic doing supension set-up, burgers and icecreams too!

Thanks to the 400GB members who came along too - see you all at the september one!!

Yeh had a mint day, couple of big moments, out of seat highsideded big time twice and on first session coming out of parc ferme I had a big slide going onto a cold wet runway which entertained smev behind me a bit I think.

Not me!!!! keep it pinned til the 1 board lol

Had a great day tho and some great battles with big bikes, passing lots of them each lap only to see them come past and piss off into the distance on the what felt like a mile long strait and do it all again the next lap.

will definetly be their in September

good to meet a couple of 400gb members aswell and hope they all had a good day

As small as you are spike I don't think that was you breking the 174mph barrier....lol

It was a real shame I was working, I definatley want to do the next one. Hopefully il be on the 400 by then, if not il have to bring the SP1....oh what a shame, hahaha

No i meant that the copper was positioned between the 3 and 2 marker boards for turn one were most of the big bikes were getting on the anchors, not me, stayed tucked in flat out til the 1 boards then hard on brakes down to first back stepping out and bike almost bounching off the limiter

look forward to a bit of :fight: with the other double RR motorsport rider in september then

o i got a few pictures of the the day and so did one of smev's friends so will get them uploaded asap

nah they were never that bad lol, If their was any bikes i hadnt been riding closely with for the last couple of laps I gave them a fair bit of space, but guys like that aprillia and cbr track bike I was have great fun :fight: with, did have a couple of up is down down is up with the gear's moments tho which were a tad close

guess its the racer instinct in me, sure did give me alot of practise at overtaking tho, which castle combe didnt, must have passed a good 5-6 each lap,

tbf I think il go in the fast group next time then hopefully I wont be scaring anyone on the brakes, sp1 setup ftw!!!!
