Nothing more to say really, if it's been organised it'll be here.

400GB track day. GO TO THE GENERAL DISCUSSION AND VOTE

Post by matty_boy » Wed Feb 11, 2009 5:40 pm

Ok we need to choose a track these are the best dates at the weekend that I can find for the summer tracks.

I phoned up both Focused and No limits and they said that the club racing has booked all of the tracks, so that is why no weekend track days.

We can decide what we want to do with the results from the poll. i.e. If we get Anglesey as the most popular we can arrange to travel up the day before and do a spot of camping.

If any one else has deep pockets they can join me in doing a full weekend

Ok the poll wont work so just post with your choice.

Rockingham Intl Sat 20 Jun 09 - £139.00
Rockingham Nat Sun 21 Jun 09 - £139.00
Anglesey Coastal - Sat 11 Jul 09 - £129;.00
Anglesey Intl - Sun 12 Jul 09 - £149.00
Mallory Park Sat 08 Aug 09 (98db) - £109.00
None of the above, i can do a week day

Not too fussed but mallory sounds cheap & fairly central so I,ll vote there.

I'm ok with Mallory too. Weekdays are good for me. Not fussed about it being a weekend.

No way. Mallory is dangerous. You want to see my leg after 18 months since I raced there? Maybe you will change your mind and its not a great track unless you are a novice and facilities are crap too, especially if its raining.
At least in Rockky you have a dry pit and electricity for tea and coffee and a far better track NATIONAL.
I aint paying any silly money tracks when I could go and have a week in France on better tracks for an extra £100 with more track time per day
